Development at Chabimura:
Tourism Destination Development at Chabimura and Upgradation/ Beautification of Visitor Amenities/ Facilities at Fatik Sagar and Amar Sagar.The Tourism Destination Development initiative at Chabimura aims to transform the site into a vibrant and visitor-friendly destination by enhancing and upgrading essential amenities and infrastructure. The project encompasses the development of eco-cottages and restaurants to offer sustainable accommodation and dining options, along with dedicated changing rooms, staff blocks, and a well-equipped picnic area to cater to day visitors.
To promote recreational and cultural engagement, facilities such as a boating area, open-air theatre, theme garden, and jetty have been planned. Accessibility and visitor movement will be improved through the construction of well-laid driveways, pathways, and gazebos. To ensure environmental sustainability and water availability, a surface water treatment plant will be installed.
Riverfront protection will be undertaken using gabion mattresses to prevent erosion. Additional amenities such as a parking area, toilets, Water ATMs, and perimeter fencing are also being developed to enhance visitor comfort, safety, and convenience, making Chabimura a model eco-tourism destination.
